Event description:

The Yale Stress Center, in partnership with Being Well at Yale, offers Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) at a discounted rate for Yale University faculty, staff and their spouses or partners.

MBSR is a widely-studied, evidence-based intervention that has shown to be helpful in reducing stress levels as well as specific clinical symptoms such as anxiety, depression, insomnia and chronic pain.

The course begins with a one-hour orientation. The eight-week course then meets weekly on either Mondays or Fridays at the Yale Stress Center. Each weekly session is 2.5 hours long.  A half-day retreat is also included as well as course materials.

For specific upcoming course dates and times, please check the Yale Stress Center website.

The standard course fee is $460 or $300 with a Yale University ID.  Please call the Yale Stress Center at 203-737-3398 to register or for more information. (Participants must be registered and paid in full prior to the orientation session).
