Event description:

March is National Nutrition Month.  Join Becky Purcell, Registered Dietitian, for an engaging and informative workshop and learn how to eat well on a budget!  An all - too - common saying is, “It’s too expensive to eat healthy.”  While food prices have increased over the years, it is not impossible to save money while at the grocery store.  With a little know-how and advance planning, you can enjoy nutritious foods while sticking to a budget.

Participants will learn:

  • how to make a healthy and affordable meal plan
  • shopping tips to stretch your dollar
  • how to cook healthy meals on a budget

Please note, this is a hybrid workshop. In-person registration is limited to 20 participants.  The first 20 in-person registrants will receive a free ‘salad shaker’, also great for making overnight oats!

Please register in advance through Zoom and indicate whether attending in-person or virtually.
