Free afternoon group meditation held on Zoom sponsored by Being Well at Yale (Employee Well-being). Sessions are held during the academic year September through mid-December and mid-January through end of May.
Taking a break during the workday to pause and practice mindfulness has been shown to be beneficial for enhancing executive function, increasing emotional regulation, and reducing cortisol levels. Meditations are a mix of guided and silent. Time for reflections and optional sharing is also included at the conclusion of the practice.
Beginners welcome! No experience necessary. No special equipment required.
Open to Yale University employees.
Sessions are led by Danielle Casioppo, Education Specialist and Certified Mindfulness-Based Strengths Practice instructor.
To join please send a request to beingwell@yale.edu and specify your Yale affiliation.
