Location:
Cross Campus See map
Event description:

Feeling connected — to ourselves and others — is central to health and wellbeing.

Being Well at Yale invites all members of the Yale community to deepen their sense of wellness and belonging with a special “doga” yoga practice on Cross Campus*, featuring the calming presence of Heidi the Public Safety service dog, her partner Officer Simons, and canine friends. Stretch your body, breathe fresh air, and pet-itate.

Service dogs provide a calming, comforting presence wherever they go, encouraging compassion and connection. What better place to connect more deeply with your senses, your community, and a service dog than during a yoga practice?

The event is free and open to all Yale faculty, staff, and students. The yoga practice will be both beginner-friendly and engaging for those with experience.

Participants must bring their own yoga mat or towel, and reusable water bottle with water.

The practice will be led by Danielle Casioppo, Registered Yoga Teacher and Education Specialist/Coordinator with Being Well at Yale.

*Due to the prediction for rain, this event has been moved to the Payne Whitney Gym.

Registration is now closed.
