Practicing gratitude goes beyond just saying ‘thank you’. It’s about cultivating an outlook on life and a way of approaching life’s challenges. It’s also a strength of character and considered one of the highest virtues in many traditions. Research has suggested that practicing gratitude is a meta-strategy for well-being.
In this experiential workshop, participants will learn about some of the evidence-based mental and physical health benefits of practicing gratitude while experiencing simple stress-reducing techniques to increase feelings of gratitude, appreciation and well-being.
This workshop is presented by Danielle Casioppo, MS, Education Specialist/Coordinator with Being Well at Yale, certified MBSP instructor, Mindful Health & Wellness Coach and Applied Positive Psychology facilitator.
Hybrid workshop: Zoom and limited in-person seating available (RSVP required). Those who attend in-person will receive a journal, pen and stone.
