Mindful Self-Compassion Skills

Event time:
Thursday, August 18, 2022 - 12:30pm
Event description:

This 60 minute workshop is focused on day to day ways we can develop mindful self-compassion skills. Compassion is a simple concept around connecting with ourselves and others with kindness and gentleness and acknowledging our common humanity. However self-compassion can be challenging to fully understand, embrace, and incorporate into our lives. Mindfulness allows us to be more present and can also pave the way to cultivating self-compassion skills and give us space to be more curious and open-hearted with ourselves and others.

Presented by Elizabeth I. Rathbun, LPC, Psy.D, Licensed Psychologist, CEDS, Certified Eating Disorder Specialist, Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor®, and Assistant Clinical Professor, Department of Psychiatry, Yale School of Medicine.

Open to all Yale affiliates.
