Sometimes in life we focus on what’s wrong - problems, struggles, and stressors - and lose sight of what’s good and strong in ourselves and others.
Mindfulness-Based Strengths Practice is an eight-week, experiential program which focuses the power of mindfulness on personal character strengths. The purpose is to train participants on both mindfulness and character strengths practices and to learn how each enhances the other. This synergy can then be used to create one’s best life and to better navigate challenges.
Join Danielle Casioppo, MS, MHFA-C, Education Specialist, Coordinator, Certified MBSP instructor with Being Well at Yale, to learn what your unique signature strengths are and how best to use them mindfully at work and at home, with colleagues, friends and family. Shift your focus from what’s wrong to what’s strong.
Each 75 minute session of this 6-week series consists of mindfulness practices, including meditation, brief written character strengths exercises, and group discussion and presents new content which builds off of the previous week so being able to attend all sessions as best as possible is important.
