- Why language is critical to support
- Available professional and self-help resources
- An emphasis on self-care
The course is 8 training hours total; two hours online ‘pre-work’, and two 3.5 hour in-person sessions (plus breaks). All parts of the training are required, including attending both live training dates. Please note that part 2 ends 30 minutes later than part 1.
Participants will receive a printed manual as well as digital materials accessible for the length of certification. MHFA certification lasts three years and then can be renewed on one’s own.
