Event description:
In this workshop participants will learn about and experience some of the evidence-based benefits of the strength of gratitude and why this strength is vital to well-being and supporting resilience. Gratitude goes far beyond simply saying thank you. In fact, Cicero said “Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues but the parent of all others.” Over the last two decades much research has been done to explore this universal virtue and powerful strength of character and its impact on health and well-being.
Participants are invited to join Danielle Casioppo, MS, NBC-HWC, Education Specialist, and Certified Mindfulness-Based Strengths Practice instructor with Being Well at Yale, for an engaging and thought-provoking workshop.
What attendees will learn:
• The mental health benefits of gratitude
• The physical health benefits of gratitude
• The connecting power of gratitude and appreciation
• Gratitude interventions for daily life
Please register in advance through Zoom.
