Yale University, Yale Cardiovascular Medicine, and Yale New Haven Health have again joined forces as proud sponsors of the 2024 American Heart Association’s Greater New Haven Heart Walk! The Heart Walk is an opportunity to raise funds to support lifesaving research for heart disease and stroke. The American Heart Association continues to support more than 30 researchers within the university and School of Medicine with over $11 million in awards this year alone.
This walkable 3-mile, family and pet-friendly event is on Sunday, May 6 at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven. The scenic walk along the water is also a chance to get together with colleagues for some fitness and fun. The pre-walk events start at 9:00 AM, and the walk kicks off at 10:00 AM.
