Being resilient is a set of learnable skills. It’s not something that we either have or do not have as human beings. A major part of what helps us to be more resilient are some of our best qualities already within us - particularly our strengths of gratitude, kindness and hope.
In this online workshop, participants will learn about and experience evidence-based practices related to the strengths of kindness, hope, and gratitude. Participants will also discover why these strengths are necessary to support resilience and how to build their own repository of resilience through learnable skills like: grateful reappraisal, the elevation effect of kindness, and the life-saving power of hope.
Participants are invited to join Danielle Casioppo, MS, MHFA-C, RYT, Education Specialist/Coordinator, and Mindfulness-Based Strengths Practice leader with Being Well at Yale, for an engaging, thought-provoking and experiential workshop.
